Stanbury kicks off the consultation process.
When you are putting together a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) you undertake to consult as widely as possible.
For the Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury NDP the process starts with an initial number of consultation meetings, one in each of the three villages and an extra one in Haworth for people who cannot attend any of the other three!
The first of the public meetings is being held at St Gabriel’s Church, Stanbury between 10.00am and 12.00pm on Saturday March 15th.
This will be followed by meetings at Haworth Methodist Church, West Lane, Haworth between 10.00am and 12.00pm on Saturday, March 29th; St James’ Church, Cross Roads between 10.00am and 12.00pm on Saturday, April 5th and on Wednesday, April 23rd at Haworth Methodist Church, Haworth between 7.00pm and 9.00pm.
At the meetings we will be asking for your opinions on what’s running well in the villages; what’s wrong; what could be done better and how you think we ought to be planning development in the future.
At each meeting there will be members of the steering group that is organising the NDP process in the Parish and Parish Councillors in attendance. So, if you’d like to ask questions or make a point please come along, make yourselves known and we’ll see how we can help.
Remember, it’s your Parish and by sparing a few moments of your time and coming to one of the consultation meetings you can have say in where we’d like to see development in the Parish, what kind of development takes place and what it all looks like.
